Installed a gearshift knob from amazon that cost $15.99 to replace the crappy aftermarket knob that came with the car. Needed to run a die on the shifter to extend the threads so the knob writing is in the proper orientation. Window bushings
Typical slow Miata power windows. Changed the bushings but found the old bushings fine. Problem was likely the congealed grease, and misadjusted guides. Replaced the bushings nonetheless, graded with silicone brake lubricant, (what I had on hand), adjusted the tracks so the windows went up and down smoothly.
