Brake pads

Engine Stand
A friend found a used 5.3LS engine for me. It’s not in great shape but got me thinking more about doing a LS swap. Picked up this engine stand from Princess Auto to start taking the LS engine apart.
Front control arm bushings
150040 miles Sept 23, 2021 Ordered ILMotorsports control arm bushings from Moss Miata which are an upgrade to the OEM stiffness. Used a 3 jaw puller and a little heat from a propane torch to both remove and install the bushings. Painted the lower control arm and upper control arm white. Voltmeter, USB charger
149476 miles July 31, 2021 Installed a voltmeter and dual usb charger, ordered from Amazon. Now I can plug in the GoPro and my phone at the same time while at the track. Plus I can monitor the battery voltage.
Tie rod ends, ball joints
149476 miles July 31, 2021 After installing the coilovers there was a clunking and rattling noise from the front end. After inspecting I saw that the tie rod rubber was cracked.
