Aug 16, 2024 First start! Ran a bit rough. I checked all the connecters to the plugs into the injectors, tightened up my grounds and let it run a few more times. It eventually smooth out. Pretty happy with this, great success! Now what?

Aug 2, 2024 Like it says above… install the oil pan, the sensors and the coil packs. All parts off the original truck for now. Also painted the engine mounts.

Aug 1, 2024 Installed a corvette harmonic balancer 12560115 from Summit Racing. I decided to go this route because the Corvette style balancer is closer inset towards the engine, which will give me more room in the engine compartment, a lot more room than a truck harmonic balancer would give. also installers the rear cover.

July 31, 2024 Installed the valley cover, knock sensors, oil pan and oil barbell.

July 24, 2024 Installed the push rods and rockers today.

June 26, 2024 Time to install the lifters head gasket and cylinder heads. Not much to it, soaked the lifters in oil overnight so that they would be fully lubricated installed them with new lifter guides everything went in fairly smoothly.
